Beatriz Maximo is originally from Portugal and she lives in Marrakech. She fell in love with Morocco more than 20 years ago when she moved to Skoura, Southern Morocco, and renovated an ancient Kasbah she turned into a hotel. Her passion for Moroccan people, style and culture grew over the years as did her love for the world of hospitality.
Beatriz is a natural at making each guest always feel welcomed and at home with her warm personality and attention to detail- she is the little fairy behind Kasbah Bab Ourika & Dar Faracha style.

French photographer Virginie Faucher has lived in Marrakech for nine years and now works between France and Morocco.She does lifestyle, travel and food photography for magazines, brands and restaurants.She lives for travelling and the art of exploration and believes in the beauty of collaboration.
